Reason Possibility 1:
In the procedure of roller exhausting air, it’s too early to seal the edges of the pre-laminated glass, so the air can not be exhausted out completely in the second roller.

Solution:
Adjust the speed and temperature in the pre-laminating procedure, make sure the pre-laminated glass is not sealed before the second roller exhausting air stage. Or adjust the speed of and temperature of the silicone rubber ring, to make sure the air is totally exhausted out.

Reason Possibility 2:
 The Polyvinyl Butyral PVB interlayer film already absorbed too much moisture.

Solution:
Check the moisture of the Polyvinyl Butyral PVB interlayer film, and the humidity of the laminating room and glass surface.

Reason Possibility3:
 The plainness of the tempered glass is not good enough.
Solution:
Choose good quality tempered glass, or use thicker Polyvinyl Butyral PVB interlayer film.

Storage of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film

EVA interlayer film is the main row material for producing safety laminated glass, however, the quality of the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film is not the only factor for producing standard safety laminated glass, there are many other factors in close relations with the successful production, such as equipment(laminating stove), producing technique, glass and auxiliary materials, environment and weather condition, worker’s operation skill and responsibility. Therefore, in order to produce strengthened glass and safety laminated glass, operator needs to analyze comprehensive factors and master comprehensive producing skill.
The following operation instruction is concerning the actual application of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film for safety laminated glass:

EVA interlayer film is usually required to be stored in the storehouse that is ventilative, dry and clean. It should avoid direct radiation from light and heat, and should be prevented from rain, high pressure, outside force collision and scratch from hard article. The temperature in storehouse should not be higher than 32℃, and humidity less than 55%. If the stock of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film is a large quantity, pallet should be put under the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film for ventilation, cooling and anti-moisture. If affected by excessive pressure, heat and moisture, the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film will be self-adhesive and its surface will turn to yellow or red in some degree. And if the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film is affected by moisture in too large size, the adhesion between the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film and glass will be weaker, which will disable the normal application of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film.

It’s forbidden that the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film for laminated glass is stored in the same warehouse where combustible stuff and explosives are stored. The remaining Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film should be re-packed by clear materials, otherwise the static electricity within the EVA film will absorb dust that will contaminate Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film and consequently disable the normal use of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film.

The valid storage period of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film for laminated glass is within 12 months after the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film is produced, so customers have to use old Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film firstly and meanwhile store new Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film if inventory turnover is needed. We shall not be responsible for the quality of Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film that has passed the valid storage period but customer still use it to laminate glass. Or should customers fail to use the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film that has passed the valid storage period, we shall not return or exchange the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film no matter there’s quality problem within the Dry Melt adhesive EVA Interlayer Film or not.
